KY Jailer Spotlight - Ken Kells

KY Jailer Spotlight - Ken Kells

Ken Kells was elected Pendleton County Jailer in 2007. He is serving his third year on the KJA Board of Directors. Kells was elected to the board during the KJA annual conference which was held in early June in Bowling Green. “Serving on the board allows me to be much more informed, and allows us to fight legislation that could potentially hurt our county,” said Kells. Ken has worked very hard since his election supporting the KJA through his service to the KJA Board of Directors and by being a very active member who is always in Frankfort when the call is made to support the KJA Legislative agenda. Ken works hard through the association’s working to unify Kentucky’s 120 jailers, provide legislative support and training and promote the best interest of Kentucky jailers. Ken is an example of what all Jailer's need to strive for in the support and dedication to the association and his fellow jailers.
