2016 KJA Jailer of the Year

During the 2016 KJA Summer Conference, Jailer Boyd's peers happily nominated him as the 2016 Jailer of the Year due to his outstanding work at Christian County's Jailer.

Brad Boyd is a native of Christian County. Born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, he is a graduate of Christian County High School and attended Hopkinsville Community College and Murray State University. He is married and has two children; a son and a daughter. He was most recently elected President of the Kentucky Jailers Association and has been a member of the American Jail Association. He has served his community through the Christian County Jail since 1994, and along with a hard-working and outstanding staff, has maintained a safe, progressive and healthy institution that is dedicated to the safety of the citizens of Christian County. The Kentucky Jailers Association could not be more proud of such a dedicated public servant.
